We are interested in two feature extensions and are willing to undertake the custom development. However, we're wondering if there's a way to work out an arrangement where we can contribute that work back to the project and have it included and/or supported. Perhaps we could work out a cooperative deal along those lines?

 

The features we want to work out adding are:

 

1. Resume on connection drop -- in other words, if the page is still alive, but the internet connection drops and then comes back, the widget would attempt some number of re-tries to either begin the same file again from scratch, or even better, attempt to resume the file upload from the point at which it dropped off.

 

2. The ability to integrate this widget into an AIR application to take file uploading into an oustide-of-browser type experience.

 

 

What are our options along these lines?  Who should we talk to?
