Why do I need to remove this whole item?  It is created each time I drag and drop a CE control onto a page.  Why have something so detailed that has to be deleted?

 

Also, it looks like you may be experienced with CE.  When I went to the online documentation it is very cryptic and not helpful at all.  For instance, I could find nothing (except in a demo) that gave me valid values for each of the control's properties.  All I could find was a list of the properties, but no explanation of the values they could have.  Any tips for me?
