  But I'm afraid that really doesn't address the problem.  I can do similar code stripping when the form posts.  The trick is to not let them use the formatting to begin with.  The code you referenced works, but only after the editor loses and regains focus, by switching to HTML view and back, for instance.  I'm not allowing users HTML access.  An app that reformats the text after submitting is really not professional and user-friendly in my opinion.
