This does not solve the issue entirely.  While I do have the editor.urlType property set to "Absolute", there doesn't appear to be any way to set the default root of subsequent absolute path.  

For example, I'm uploading the images to the image gallery via a website with the URL http://www.internal.com/xxxx.  However, when a user clicks on the image gallery to select an image to place into their HTML, I need the absolute path to be http://www.external.com/xxx.  

Is this possible?  Can I hard-code in the absolute path root?
