The new version did NOT fix the problem.  We have, however, identified the cause.

 

Our virtual folder has a space in the name.  If we create a duplicate virtual folder WITHOUT a space in the name, pointing to the same real folder, everything works correctly.

 

I was able to reproduce the problem using the samples provided in your install.  I created a virtual folder called "Cute Editor" (note the space) and pointed it to the Framework 2.0 folder.  When I navigate to the How to capture the save button click event? example, this is what I see:

 

This bug seems to have been introduced in the SourceSafe fix from last week, though it may have been earlier.  Previously we were using the version from 05/22 that did not have it.
