If I incorporate the editor into a Table control cell VS can't render the page in design mode. Displays an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object error." However the page compiles without an error and works OK on the production site.

 

If I incorporate the editor into a standard table - i.e. in a <table> vs in a <asp:Table) - VS renders the page in design mode without any problem.

 

This is a not and will annoy our designers more than it incomveniences me but I'm wondering if any of the ASP.NET C# wizards on this forum can help.
