We have found an issue with Cute editor when it is writing to Profile Data in DNN. Profile items that are Rich Text like the BIO info have been giving us errors. We see that data is not being displayed correctly that is being entered.

 

A look at the database will show that it is mostly caused by crappy DNN code handling rich text from an HTML editor. So we know it is not all Cute. However we also know that other editors have overcome this problem.

 

We fixed the issue with some complex code on the DNN end to convert the text entered from Cute Editor into a format that DNN could handle for this item.

 

That being said.. we would just love it if you could find a way to address this issue. I bet there is something cleaver you can do with the editor for DNN rich test items in Profile Data.
