Many thanks for your prompt reply , but your suggested fix had been outlined in my orginal message as the exact thing I wanted to avoid!

 

I do NOT want the Editor.Text to artificaly change just because of an outlying style .... I want the Iframe to inherit the previously defined (external) styles within the context of the CE:Edit Iframe.
