Hi Adam, I'm a new user to this control and I have the same hesitation problem. I can duplicate it with the link above.

First off, I'll explain what happens in our app. We have an email client application that allows the user to either create a new message in the same window, or to pop up a new window to compose. It's when we pop up the new window with the Cute Editor that we see the hesitation when typing.

The way you can reproduce the problem with the link you supplied is by opening the link, then shift+click on the Default Configuration link at the top left of the screen. The new window will have the hesitation problems I am encountering in my app.

Another note, this is only happening for me in IE 6 and I think IE 7.
