Sorry for the long delay of my reaction, I've been away for a couple of days. 

 

I assume /MyVirtualDir will work without any problem, BUT my problem is that in the Developing environment (Windows XP) there indeed IS a vdir, but in the Test, Accept and Production environments the site is under server root. So I NEED the translation of ~/ in order to get the application root!

 

Hope you have a solution for my problem?
