So just to make doubley sure, if I load xhtml into cuteeditor I can never see the plain text markup as if it were xhtml.

I have to rely on the fact that the xhtml to html and then the html back to xhtml on the server side is accurate. (meaning I have to check xhtml content via the database)

 

Or if I write xhtml content in the html view and switch from html view to design and back to html view it will no longer show the xhtml content but html 4.0 and theres no way to stop the intelligent conversion to html from xhtml plain text.
