    Media Playback in Gecko-based browsers

This was at the tail end of a post well down the list...
I'm not having any luck with getting FireFox (I'm assuming Netscape and Mozilla will be the same) to display sound/video files. It doesn't matter which browser I use to add media through CuteEditor, it always plays back properly in IE, but never in FireFox! Here are the details...

    Location of files: [domain root]/uploads/media/[userid]/
Location of CuteEditor instance: [domain root]/blog/blogs.aspx
When media is entered and displayed...
    Database-stored path for media: /uploads/media/[userid]/SoundFile.mp3
Path in page source code after page generation: same as above for both browsers.

Although the above media path shows up for both IE or FireFox, the file plays fine in IE, but not in Firefox - the media controls show up, but nothing happens when you click them.

I know there are differences in the way these two browsers handle media...what settings should I use to ensure both browsers display media? I've tried several changes, but nothing's stuck so far. [My audience, a local school district, is almost exclusively IE, but - as luck would have it - I'm the FireFox user!!! Ugh!]

    Thanks.
