I have dowloaded CuteChat3IntegrationPackage.zip and have tried to integrate Cute Messenger into one of my existing web application, with auto login.

 

I have got to the point where I can load the Messenger windows with 2 different user accounts.

 

However, the user that I tried to add to the contact always appear as offline. I could still add that user to the contact list, but it only appear under the offline section in the messenger windows. So I could not really test out the instant messenging between different users.

 

Am I missing something? How does the system determine whether a user is online or offline?

Or which interface (implemented in the Global.asax) is responsible for this behavior? And how should one implement it?
