Yes, please check the following article:

When specify the image gallery path, please make sure you use the absolute path.

Case 1. Edit security policy file:

<security name="ImageGalleryPath">/uploads</security>

Case 2. Programmatically specify the Image gallery path

//use the absolute path
Editor1.Setting["security:ImageGalleryPath"]= "/uploads";

//use the absolute path
Editor1.SetSecurityImageGalleryPath= "/uploads";
