IE7 and Firefox do not have an issue with XHTML transitional, the issue is that cutesoft is using a known Box Model browser hack where if content does not fit into a box object (table, div, span, etc.) the object expands to fit the content (instead of maintains size as the W3C's XHTML definition states).
