Im doing much the same in my projects and, up till now, have simply left out atlas/ajax updates on the pages where I have a cuteeditor.  Could I get a copy of that zip file you sent Adam so that I might take a whack at getting this to work?

Is there any way we could get a sticky ajax/atlas topic so we might all start posting examples/questions on how to get cuteeditor to work with web 2.0?
