Here are the answers:
CuteEditor uses Regular expression to fix and parse html code. A syntax that use a feature (the ? to signal
non-greedy pattern matching) not supported in older versions of the Windows Scripting Host (WSH).
BTW You should not be running machines still with WSH 5.1 because of vulnerabilities.
Win2K and IE 5.x came with WSH 5.1. IE 6 updates to WSH 5.6. The later patches to IE 5.x updated to WSH 5.6 as well. So the machine with WSH 5.1 must still have an older and unpatched version of IE.
Solution:
1. An upgrade to the current version of IE will also upgrade to WSH 5.6.
2. Or use the standalone WSH 5.6 install package...
