It still happens in the example you've provided. 

 

Here's what I do.  I go to the editor, and type "Heading 1".  Then I highlight this and select heading 1 from the paragraph dropdown menu.  Then I press return and drop on to the next line and continue typing.  This text is formatted as heading 1 (as expected), but when I try to change the text under the heading I highlight it and select normal from the paragraph dropdown.  This then changes all of the text (heading and sub-text).

 

I've checked the HTML and it's outputting the following:

 

<h1>Heading 1<br>&nbsp;This is some test text.</h1>

So it's wrapping the H1 tags around all of the text when I only want it around the "Heading 1" text.  Even if I try highlighting the "Heading 1" text and changing just the style of that it changes the style of all of the text.

 

Am I doing something out of sequence?  As this is how I would use Word, and how I naturally use the editor.
