Unfortunately , I cant upload a screen shot here but the button is on the main tab of the properties window. Drop a text box, right click, the properties window opens up, name of the tab is input. Look towards the bottom under the section marked general. There, in the row below alignment is the FOnt Color text input field. It has an image next to it that makes it look like if you clicked on it, you would see all the available colors. Its not a drop down list really but more of something that looks like it would have a list of colors like the font color drop down on the toolbar, but there is also a text entry field next to it. If I click on the image next to the text box nothing happens. if I type the font color in, it gives javascript errors. The field next to Font color is called highlight.  I can email you a screen shot.
