Thank you for the update instructions.  The error with a username being entered with different cases has been corrected.  However, the problem with the user entering a space at the end of his username still exists.  For example:

 

Correct Username:  jason_parrish

Entered Username:  jason_parrish[ ]     <---  [ ]  indicates a single space

 
The user can accidently enter a space and login successfully.  Then, when the user enters a chat message, the whole system bombs out for all users in the chat room.

The system should either trim the trailing space on login. Or since it's not the correct username anyways, it should prevent them from logging in.

My users will not use this system until this error is fixed.  They have no confidence in the stability of this chat room product.
