In order to support uploading of images, for either the DotNetGallery control or the editor control, what do the permissions of the directory on the server have to be?

 

Is there any support for password protected directories?

 

Without a password secured directory any directory that is given write permissions will immediately become a target for hackers. Is there any way around this?
