Cute Editor for .NET 4.5 URLs

Hi

Using ver. 4.5

I am trying to use the component to edit html that will be sent as email.

At the top of the messages I have a Table of contents which links to articles

further down the message.

I want to use <a href="#1">Article 1</a>
I don't want any other URL or file name to appear when I save the file.

Currently when I save I get this inserted in my file

href="http://localhost/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Template.aspx?Referrer=http%3a%2f%2flocalhost%2fmessages%2f%3fc%3d100111%26f%3d10#1"

when all I wanted was href="#1"

I have set
UseRelativeLinks="true" RemoveServerNamesFromUrl="true"

In fact it would be great if there was a way of telling the control not to change any of the HTML at all.

Dindino,

By default Internet Explorer converts all URLs in hyperlinks (anchor tags) absolute URLs.

To resolve this problem, please set editor DisableAutoFormatting property to true.

Hi Adam

If I create a new page in the cute editor and then save it, the URLs are fine.

If I then reload the same HTML file into Cute editor for further editing and then save it,

the URLs get altered again.

I set the following:

DisableAutoFormatting="true" UseRelativeLinks="true" RemoveServerNamesFromUrl="true" UseSimpleAmpersand="true"

Yes I do have the same problem at http://www.cutesoft.net/example/Edithtml.aspx

When the page gets reloaded the href="#1" type links have been altered and the bad code gets saved.

I suppose I could remove the offending html from the Editor.Text before saving it to disk.

I know IE is probably the problem here but is there a way this could be handled by the Cute.Editor

The first time you hit submit with links of type href="#1" Cute Editor does the job correctly and displays the HTML in the text box as you would expect.

However, if you hit submit again the link gets changed to

href=http://www.cutesoft.net/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Template.aspx?Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.cutesoft.net%2fexample%2fRelative-or-Absolute-URLs.aspx#1

Which I believe is the format required by the 'Preview' mode of the Cute Editor.

Surely Cute Editor should remove

http://www.cutesoft.net/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Template.aspx?Referrer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.cutesoft.net%2fexample%2fRelative-or-Absolute-URLs.aspx

before saving.

If I create a relative link and then click on the "Insert Hyperlink" button to view the properties of my link, the URL is changed to an absolute link. The link is changed even if I click the "Cancel" button.
The same "translation" occur if I drag and drop a link from one position to another.

I've set:
.UseRelativeLinks = true;
.RemoveServerNamesFromUrl = true;
.DisableAutoFormatting = true;
