Help with unknown error

We are currently evaluating the Cute editor for .Net and we get the following message.

What generates this error message and what do we need to do?

Is worms a virtual directory?

Yes it is Sir, and I copied the CuteSoft_Client folder to this WORMS folder.

Little more background on the problem:
I actually have two .aspx forms. One form is located in the Project root (WORMS/Form1.aspx) which has the Cute editor control on it and no problem. The other form say Form2.aspx is in WORMS/FORMS/Form2.aspx also has the cute editor control and this is the form that is giving me the error.

Well, the only thing I did was, after I designed Form1.aspx in the root (WORMS), I saved it as Form2.aspx (WORMS/FORMS/) in FORMS sub folder.

My development comp is Win XP SP2, Framework 1.1, VS .Net 2003 and my app is an ASP.Net web app using VB.Net and the back end is SQL Server 2000.

Praveen,

Let's do a test.

Copy WORMS/Form1.aspx to WORMS/FORMS/Form1.aspx and run WORMS/FORMS/Form1.aspx in your browser.

Alright Adam,

I did that and get the same kind of error in my browser status bar. Well, I noticed something. As soon as I call the form either Form2.aspx or the newly copied Form1.aspx from another form in the WORMS/FORMS forlder (say BaseForm.aspx) using Reponse.Redirect, the URL still shows WORMS/FORMS/BaseForm.aspx though I can see Form1.aspx or Form2.aspx.

There are some dropdowns in the form and when I select an item in the dropdown (basically make a post back), the URL changes to the correct location and the error in my browser's status bar is gone.

Any ideas?

I have been busy with some other thing so could not get back to you. I got your email about ver 4.0...7 or something. Do you think it will fix the error?

Hey Adam,

I updated it to 4.0.0.7 but no luck. I am sure at this point that it is a bug in the component. All other pages are fine except the ones with the Cute Editor. Can you help me sort this out. I need to give my recommendations to my boss before Friday.

Well, the other thing I noticed is, after updating, the error message is slightly different. Everything is same as my first post except for the URL parameter. Now it is

............/CuteEditor.htc.aspx?settinghash=f0c57d48&{ResourceArguments}
