I love the fact that Image Gallery will resize an image when it's uploaded.  Is there any way to reconfigure the admin area so it acts just as a file uploader?  ie, the user would not be able to create a new category or delete comments or images.   All the user would be able to do is click a 'upload an image' button, find the image on their computer, and upload it.

The image would then be resized and stored on the server.

Any way to do this?

Hi m3jim,

The gallery does not support to only shows the upload button for now, the best way it hide the create category menu and hide all context menus in the admin panel, then the user only can use the upload button in the admin panel.  If this works for you, then please tell me, so I can show you the full steps to hide the menus.
