1. Reset Stylesheet

    Using a reset stylesheet may cause the resize icon in the bottom right to appear out of place.  To fix, I had to use:

    .CuteEditorBottomBarContainer td {
       text-align:right;
       vertical-align:bottom;
   }

   

   Solution: Consider using inline styles or a stylesheet inside iFrame and text-align instead of <td align="">

 

2. Drop Down Menus  - I have had this problem with all versions of the editors (back to 6.0.7). They are very quirky. In the latest download using Firefox, it's dang near impossible to to get them to stay open. I'm having the hardest time with this. Please note, i'm using 2 instances of CE on the page, so it might be a factor in this issue.

1. I'm not sure where I go to download the latest build. I downloaded the demo, but my license file won't work with it.

 

2. No, the example you posted does not seem to be doing the same thing, however after trying to setup an exampe, I believe I debugged my issue and found that it was because my editor was being wrapped in a <span>, which apparently causes problems with the drop down menus.

 

3.  Thanks for the tips on the skin creation, however I had already figured that out before I read this post. BTW, my skin is using the Fugue Iconset by Pinvoke. I'm not sure if you've seen one using it, but was curious how I share it with the community. Is there a place for these?

 

4. Where did you get that Code Highlighter toolbar button?

 

5. How did you make the Form Items into a dropdown button?

 

6. Is there a property where I can pass the CSS file into the Class object/instance? I have 2 different editors on one page and want the styles to look different.

Thanks for this tip Adam. Got a few more questions about styling.

 

1. You mentioned that inline styles were removed for the latest version, however I suppose only the ones you mentioned were removed. I would really REALLY love to restyle the drop-down menus, however all of the styles for those are inline as well. Any chance of being able to make those look better in the near future?

 

2. The icons at the bottom (Normal, HTML, Preview) will only work with GIF files. Why not use PNGs? Is this easy to change to PNGs so my hover style doesn't look so bad? I would like to avoid making too many changes to the core for when I upgrade, I have to remember to bring over those changes, so if there's any way to make these part of the toolbar all.png file, that'd be cool, along with the Save, Font Color, Font Highlight, and Table icons.

 

3. Why is the arrow on the drop-down menus not the same arrow file as the arrows on the Font Color and Highlight color menus? This requires all toolbars to use the same style/color arrow.
