We purchased a license for the cute editor do we need to license localhost too? we get an exception that the license expired.

You have your own License File, but  for some reasons, you are using an Evaluation License file.
 

Solution:
 

Please find the license file we sent to you upon purchase, and upload it to your server. If you are unable to find the license file, email us and specify the email address used for purchasing in your response.
 

All official license files work for localhost.
