Problem when uploading '*.swf' files

Hi,

I getting a problem with cute editor v6.2.

When I try to upload a .swf file using cute editor, I'm getting the following message: 'The Image Format is Wrong!'.

However, I can upload the same .swf file from: http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx.

Can someone please help me with this issue ASAP.

.swf is the flash file type. You should use insert flash dialog instead of insert image dialog.

I have been using the insert flash dialog.

I can upload .flv files but not .swf. It keeps telling me The image format is wrong.

Please help me find a solution to this matter. It's quite urgent.

Does it have to do with the config files?

Please your security policy files.

The security policy file (default.config, admin.config and guest.config) can be found in the /CuteEditor/Configuration/Security folder. In security policy file you can find the MediaFilters element element

I have added the item .swf in both ImageFilters and MediaFilters but it is still not working. I keep getting the same error message.

I did not find .flv in the config files and I can upload .flv files successfully.

It's quite strange also because when uploading .swf files, the return is The IMAGE format is wrong.

I have also checked the InsertFlash.aspx but it does not return "The Image is in wrong format." anywhere. This is however present in the InsertImage.aspx.

When uploading a swf file does it use the InsertImage.aspx?

I have also noticed one thing, when I try to upload a .swf file a folder 'UploaderTemp' is created at the root of my application and I can find the swf file there with a different name. However it is not uploaded in the selected folder and I keep getting the error message.

Please explain to me how upload of a flash works in v6.2 and why I keep getting the error message.
