when i try to add a "mailto" link it always adds the Url in front of the link. Thats a great feature for regular links, but for mailto's it's not what i need. I found that issue also at

 

 

I don't want to turn that feature totally off, because i need it on regular links.

 

I guess i'm not the only one doing mailto links. What am i doing wrong ?

Can you explain the problems in details?

 

I just made a test. It works without any problem.

 

BTW, if you don't need "Anti Spam Email Encoder" feature, you can turn it off by setting Editor.EnableAntiSpamEmailEncoder property to false.

when i create a mailto link using the "chain" - icon the link should point to mailto:christian.billing@skybow.com and when clicked on it should start Outlook. When i create such a link on my site, using the "chain"-symbol, selecting "mailto" as type and adding my mailaddress into the textbox, the link shows "http://www.ipm.ch/mailto:christian.billing@skybow.com" ( www.ipm.ch is my site).   

In the beginning i wasn't so sure were it comes from, but then friday afternoon i tested that on http://www.cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx and got the same result. This morning i wasn't able to do that again, which surprises me a lot. I guess i need to dig deeper

in case anybody cares. The problem was that the website was trying to make links absloute or relative as needed using System.Uri. CuteEditor gives mailto - links escaped to the application, where System.Uri handled that incorrect. System.Web.HttpUtilitty.Decode () help
