Is there a way to increase the maximum file size over the default (500K) for the 'send file' option?

I would like to be able to sned PDF's up to 10MB if possible.

Login as admin, got to admin console, choose Configuration tab and modify the following value:

Max File Upload Size

Defalult: 100000 byte
