Run as standalone application

Greetings,

I would like to know if its possible to run LiveSupport as a standalone web application with its own global.asax file.

Our current setup has the following structure:

localhost/website
localhost/website/CuteSoft_Client

And we would like to have CuteSoft_Client as a separate application to be able to use it without having to recopy the entire folder in each website.

localhost/website
localhost/CuteSoft_Client

You need to have a mini portal to allow you register the user and set up operators.

The Cute Live Support portal is an open source mini portal. You can modify it to meet your requirements.

Is there a way to configue the application you refered in your previous post to support different login techniques? Basicaly we'd like to implement login functionality like in the DNN & Community Server editions of Live Support, that is, to log on to the site using a custom login process, and keep the user identified when he opens up live support, all that while maintaining the Live Support as a standalone application with its own global.asax and web.config, in a separate IIS Virtual Directory.

From what I've seen, its possible to support the DNN & Community Server like login, but it requires the LiveSupport to be integrated to the website using the live support, and therefore can't be a standalone application, is that correct?

If you have your own membership, you don't need standalone application.
