Is there a way to tell if the control is in thumbnail vs slideshow mode. i want to remove some of my headers in the slideshow to give the user more screen real estate.

 

Also, is the only way to get out of Full Screen mode by pressing the close button? A user can navigate off of my page and therefore be stuck in Full Screen mode. Thanks.
