RTF To HTML

I've noticed there are two methods saveRTF() and loadRTF() to save/retrieve editor's content to/from rtf file.

This is great feature but I would like to load editor's content to a stream(or string variable) and save it to a database as rtf formated text.
Is there any way to acomplish that without creating an actual file?

That works great. Unfortunally I need the RTF to HTML as well

I tried

string _value = "{rtf1 .....}" ;

CuteEditor.Convertor.RTF.RTF2HTML rtf2html = new CuteEditor.Convertor.RTF.RTF2HTML(_value);
string ret = rtf2html.ParseRTF();

but
RTF2HTML(_value); accept only a file name.

Angel,

We will resolve this problem in the coming version 5.2 which will be released in the end of this week.

No, it only works in the version 5.2.

Does this function know how to deal with html tags like fieldset introduced by the "Insert groupbox" toolbar button? I know when I open the html saved in a browser by setting its mime type to application-word, it doesnt like the tags and I have to manually replace them with table to make it look somewhat decent.

I downloaded version 5.2 and when I do a .RTF on the

html2rtf.RTF, I lose my values and get this instead -

"{\\rtf1\\ansi\\ansicpg1252\\deff0\\deflang1033{\\colortbl;\\red0\\green0\\blue0;}{\\fonttbl\n{\\f0\\fswiss\\fcharset1252 Times New Roman;}\n}{\\*\\generator CuteEditor 5.0;}}"

any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I used your code from above.

I am sorry, I should have been more specific. My html code got converted into the rtf I pasted, I lost all my text boxes, text etc. That is the issue. What I am trying to do is convert html code so it can be "exported" as a word document. I thought that I could use the Convertor.RTF.HTML2RTF to convert my html saved from the cute editor into rtf and write out the contents to a file (by using Response.ContentType). But the convert function seems to lose all the html info.

The textbox are not supported in the current version. We will improve this in the future release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Adam,

I am afraid the convertor losing some values whilst converting from HTML to RTF. When the file is retrieved from the database, it does not look like the way it was formatted.

Any solution?!
