Downloaded demo and am trying to integrate with an ASP application. On my machine (2000 Professional), it is working fine. On a Windows 2000 Server, i am getting the error below. The only difference is the directory structure. Do you know what the problem could be?

 

Error:

Connection Failed.: Check CuteChat General License Failed : CryptoAPI cryptographic service provider (CSP) for this implementation could not be acquired.

Any idea at all?

had the same problem... the exact prob is that your ASP.NET user has no permissions on the machine storage directory (this lies in the documents and settings->all users->Computer Data->microsoft->Crypto

 

Give write permissions into this storage to the asp.net user and voilá!  I had the same prob under winServer 3k and had to work out the solution... this support forum seems a bit... useless :/
