    CentOS compatibility

    I have a client who is attempting to use the Ajax Uploader with the CentOS 5.5 linux operating system with Firefox  3.0.18.  The control appears to be rendering in iframe mode and when she clicks on the upload button (manual start) she is receiving the following error:

    Is this particular operating system not supported?

    Re: CentOS compatibility

    It doesn't appear that the error message is displaying properly.  Here is the error:

    Invalid postback or callback argument.  Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page.  For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them.  If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.

    Hi nunndaddy,

    Can you create a simple page by the code below and let your client test it? Does it work?

    1. <%@ Page Language="C#" EnableEventValidation="false" %>
    2.
    3. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    4.
    5. <script runat="server">
    6.
    7.     protected override void OnPreRender(EventArgs e)
    8.     {
    9.         SubmitButton.Attributes["itemcount"] = Uploader1.Items.Count.ToString();
    10.
    11.         base.OnPreRender(e);
    12.     }
    13.
    14. </script>
    15.
    16. <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    Re: CentOS compatibility

    Thank you for your response.  Unfortunately the individual who was experiencing the issue has not got back with me after I set up the test page.  However, I will get on one of my linux installations and I'll see if I can reproduce the issue.
