Iframe in editing area?

Is it possible to add an iframe in the editing area?

At the moment the editor deletes it.

Martin,

Please set the following property to false:

Editor.EnableStripIframeTags Property

Specifies whether to remove inject Iframe tags before writing the string into the db. When this property is set to true (the default) Cute Editor strips all iframe tags from the html to prevent iframe injection attack.

Hello,

I am using the 6.0 version. Is it normal if there is no such property ? Do I need 6.1 ?

My problem is that I have never used it before, and I could copy iframes on the editor.

But today, I had to work on CE and for a reason I still don't understand (I lost hours!), I have no more way to paste any iframe...

I have nothing special configured on the editor (just the runat server), and my site on the server is still accepting iframes, but no more possible under visual studio.

The only major change with before is that I have switched from xp pro to vista pro.

Any idea ?

How do I get this EnableStripIframeTags property ?

In version 6.0, we don't strip Iframe tag. There is not this property in version 6.0.

Upgrade to version 6.1. It's a free upgrade.

Thanks Adam for your answer.

The problem is that it actually strips under 6.0. And as I said it did not before !

I have for sure tried to upgrade to 6.1, but then I get a compilation error and can't make it work (I have all the new Dlls and client files and get an error in the Dialogs folder during compilation).

Regarding 6.0 and the new issue, I have not modified a single line of code, but I have changed my development environment.

New computer, from XP Pro to Vista Pro, and added ASP.Net AJAX : could it be the reason of my problems ? Do I have to change anything in the web.config for example ?

Please remove CuteEditor.dll from your project reference. Then add the reference to the new CuteEditor.dll. Recompile your project.

Let say my english may be wrong.

Actually stripped might not be the correct word to explain my problem : when I paste an iframe under the html mode, I don't see it under Normal and Preview, but it is not deleted. It remains as an iframe in the html mode, so it is still saved.

But there is no way to see it.

Any idea why ?

I have found something very interesting : my iframe issue is only under Firefox !

It is working fine under IE7, but not under FF2.0.0.14
