Use FONT TAGS Size isn't PIXELS - Help

I am using cuteeditor to create content for an XML file that is read by flash. I would like CuteEditor to think that Size 12 is 12 Pixels, but instead it thinks it's HUGE like 36px. Is there a way to change the units. Flash thinks Size=12 from a XML is 12 pixels. Is this a Flash problem or is this a setting I can change in CuteEditor?

I can post the cuteeditor result to an XML file and flash reads it fine. Flash considers a FONT TAG SIZE to be in PIXELS, but cuteeditor thinks the size related to some other units so size = 3 in CuteEditor might be 18px, so it appears huge in cuteeditor and on my html version of the page, but my flash page considers size = 3 to be 3px. That is my problem.

this looks great in flash because 14px is a nice size font, but cuteeditor would make this huge.

1. tag has been deprecated. This means that the tag is no longer a part of the HTML specification. While browsers will still support it, most likely for a long time, it's a good idea to switch to the alternative.

TECHNICALLY tag is supposed to be a scale from 1 to 7, but the definition of that 1 to 7 is NOT defined in the standard - though thankfully most browsers today use the same approximate values.

Those values being:

1 = 62.5% = 10px
2 = 83.3% = 13px
3 = 100% = 16px
4 = 112.5% = 18px
5 = 150% = 24px
6 = 200% = 32px
7 = 300% = 48px

Mind you that's assuming you are in small fonts/96 dpi and your browsers default font size is 16px, as with large fonts in IE and Opera the px values would be 25% larger.
