    Master pages & modal dialogs

Got a problem with modal dialogs/master pages. Can see that this forum has the same problem - when CuteEditor is not embeded into a master page, popup dialogs are all modal (which is expected behaviour). However, it is not so when I use master pages.

You may see it here - click 'insert link' button to ensure and compare behaviour to http://cutesoft.net/example/Edithtml.aspx page, for instance. I'm concerned on multiple insert dialogs and whant to prevent this.

To be clear, I use number of custom dialogs - so I need a solution for ShowDialog function that will work in the same way regardless of master pages. Can you hepl me with this?

I have a sample project to mail to you, but I do not think you really need it since issue presents on this forum as well.

This forums does use the master page. However all popup dialogs are all modal dialogs.

Can you tell me your browser version and the detailed steps to test this issue?

    Keep me posted

Saw your post at http://cutesoft.net/forums/thread/32394.aspx. Probably, it applies to a former forum version.
Sorry - misread your post. Thought it was 'does not use the master page'. However, waiting for any reply...

Though, it is my case - usage of master/content pages breaks modal dialog for IE 6. And it is all the same for your forum.
I was able to reproduce this issue at another computer (another windows build, same IE 6 version). BTW - I got error message there as well, but I do not have it at my machine - it may be environment bug.

    IE7 and FF works fine.

Will send screenshots with IE 'about' dialogs and error message. See incoming email - "thread_32394_screenshots"

Update: got a mail daemon saying email is not available. So here are full versions you asked for:

    • 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254

Regarding error message: syntax error: function window_onerror
