    copy/paste from desktop application that has embedded image in it

       To All:

    We are very new to cuteeditor ... just have it up and running today.  we can insert data into our SQL DB when there are no embedded images, but when there are embedded images, we just get an X where the image should be.

    We are trying to make this as easy as possible for the end user ... so for example, they might copy/paste a Notes e-mail message directly into the webform - and that paste has an image.  Is this even possible?

    Thanks for any help.

    some info:

    using SQL 2000 and the row has a blob for accepting the pic
    using classic ASP

    Newbie.

    daboss8675309,

    Desktop application stores the image in its own file system. As as web solution, we don't have permission to access it directly.

    I have discussed it with our developers. We may come with an Active-X solution to handle this request in the future release.

    Thanks for the update.  Is what I am trying to do possible with another application?  We are trying to avoid scanning the document or uploading it .....

    Also, do you have a time frame on the new release?

    Thanks!
