non breaking spaces in version 6.6

i have a problem with version 6.6 in Firefox and Chrome. IE works fine.

When i copy WORD or HTML with the "pastetext" option cute editor converts all spaces to   !!

This also happens on cutesoft.net.

Any suggestions ?

Adam,

the link you suggest is not using the "pastetext" property. (It does not generate  , but the code is not clean enough (WORD markup etc)) On http://cutesoft.net/asp/EditorOnPaste.asp?EditorOnPaste=PasteText everything I paste goes wrong, every space is converted to  .

Dear Jorbo,

You can find the source code of http://cutesoft.net/asp/EditorOnPaste.asp?EditorOnPaste=PasteText in download package, you need set the following property:

      <%
           Dim editor
           Set editor = New CuteEditor
           editor.ID = "Editor1"
           'Specifies the manner in which the editor handles pasted text.
           editor.EditorOnPaste = "PasteText"
           editor.Text = "Hello World"
           editor.Draw()
      %>

Dear Adam,

I downloaded the latest version, but now there is a new bug with the pastetext property. When pasting text from WORD to FireFox, Safari and Chrome I get "random" <br/> in sentences. This is also the case on your website. In IE it works fine.

Do you have a solution for this problem ?
