Save RTF and css stylesheet

I attach a stylesheet to the view that I have using EditorWysiwygModeCss, yet went I save as a RTF file all the formmatting disappears and I just get the text. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do everthing inline (not what I would want)

Grant,

The external style sheet is not supported in the RTF feature. Please put everything inline.
