Is there possibilities to reconfigure the editor when we upload the image let`s say we have an image 450X450 px and we choose this image in the editor, than we will upload it, I will this picture auto resize from 450X450 to 200X200 so the rest of the image is removed NOT compressed, just as GD library works.

 

The below is one link with example what I am talking about :

 

 

It will not be the same to just choose the size on the editor as RESIZE it on the way which is showen on the link above.

If the editor have not this features, than it would be nice to take this as a good suggestion.
I say this because when we will get one image from size 450X450 on to 200X200 we will destroy the image quality, because the image will be just compressed instead adjusted on the right way (the rest of the image needs to be taken away).

You can upload the images to the server first and use the resize the image site using the CuteEditor online image editor.  With online image editor, you can resize, change dimensions, scale, crop, add text, optimize, rotate, flip, mirror and add watermark.

 

The CuteEditor also have an autoresize feature.  If uploaded images are too large to display for your applications (for example the width of image is bigger than MaxImageWidth) , automatic resizing makes them fit and keep the original ratio automatically.

Hello Adam !! first of all thank You very much for answering on my question.

 

Actually I saw that You have described, and it work just fine as You told.

The only now I would like to implement of course if possible is to automate it, because somethimes when we are updating

the news it is talk about over 30 pictures pr day, so it would be more easy to have auto resize possibilities.

 

We just choose the image size for editor to be 200X200 and if we get the image for our news portal which is the bigger for example 450X450 than we don`t need to do any thing, just upload it.

 

But if this is a lot of work with implementation, than I can use the Editor (picture editor) no problems at all.
