I am a very newbie to asp, but as i do a photography website the way i do it now by html etc it takes forever, so i wanted to find a .asp gallery programme.

 

I saw this site and wanted to test it before i buy it as i am new to all this, so i downloaded the dotnetgallery.zip, i extracted it to e:/websites/asp gallery, uploaded it, but when i run the sample gallery on the computer or online i see the 4 sample pictures on the html file but when i press ie the Animal Gallery it just goes to a black webpage with Dotnetgallery Album demonstration and nothing else, but a error icon on bottom of webpage.

 

Anyone know what i am doing wrong?

 

Am i right in saying that when its all up and running, you just upload the pictures to a folder and it automatically creates the album?

 

I am sure the webserver support asp because its got a folder called aspnet_client

It is suppose to go in this folder?

 

Any help would be great on getting me started on how to set up a kind of gallery like this.
