This problem exists on both my application and the Demo site with Netscape 8.0. When you click on the downloadable files icon the dialog boxes opens up but fills the entire page. When a file is selected and the Insert button is clicked nothing happens. The link is not inserted and the window doesn't close. In fact, I'm not ...

  • Re: Customizing target in the "Downloadable Files" popup

Adam, Yes, that seems to work fine. It now defaults to the ''New Window'' option. Thanks for your help

Hi Adam, Well that didn't fix the problem. It still opens to a blank option with ''Not set'' one choice below it. Same problem on your demo site. Any more ideas?

  • Customizing target in the "Downloadable Files" popup

I would like to have any document inserted into a page default to open in a new window (_blank) when the link to it is clicked on.The current dropdown menu on the ''Downloadable Files'' popup opens to ''nothing'' not even the selected option of ''Not Set.'' • Re: Serious help with deployment needed

Can you write a page in asp vbscript that will retrieve a recordset from a database and place it into a form and then write it back to the database with a submit function? (Macromedia Dreamweaver writes this in a few clicks of a mouse.) If so, I think I can give you the code you need. Adam has some examples ...

Hi, How familiar are you with Macromedia Dreamweaver and the ''update'' server behavior? If you can create a database table to store the data and a page to view/edit the contents, I can help you with the code you need to get the content back into the database. You can use an Access or SQL server db.

  • Type of link missing in IE6 popup

Although it is written into the code for the ''insert_link.asp'' popup window, the link ''Type'' drop down menu does not appear when using IE-6. This is also the case on the ''enable all'' demo site. It does show up when using NSN 8 or Firefox (Gecko_Insertlinks.asp) insert links function.

  • Image resizing

Hi, Has anyone found an image resizer that will work with CuteEditor for ASP version 4? I am looking for one that will resize an uploaded jpeg or gif image if they exceed a certain pixel size in both horizontal and/or vertical dimensions. I have found several resizers, but they use their own upload component and not sure if they will ...

  • Netscape 8.0

Just a note. Everything works fine in Netscape Navigator 8.0 and I now have figured out that some of the tool bar buttons disappear because these features aren't available in NN or Firefox (like spellcheck). Pretty nifty Adam!

  • Version 4 and Firefox 1.0.4

Hi, I am testing my pages on FireFox and have found some interesting issues. 1. When I try to paste content into a text area using the paste button, I get the following error message on both my page and your demo page. When I try to go to the page indicated, I get a page cannot be found error. Also, the toolbars are different ...
