Cute may be IDing an IE browser as a Gecko browser

We have a single user that is having problems loading CUTE content on her laptop.  If she uses another laptop, everything works fine.  We are checking her IE install settings , but we also noticed this difference in one of the script tags that was generated by CUTE:

    Page that does not work:

    Cute/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Load.ashx?type=scripts&file=Gecko_Loader">

    Page that works fine:

    Cute/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Load.ashx?type=scripts&file=IE_Loader">

Can you give us any info as to how CUTE would Identify an IE browser as a Gecko browser?   Are there particular settings I should check?

    Thanks much!

    Dave,

Please ask your customer to check what 'useragent' of his IE browser ,

    by browsing this website :

    http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

And then post the useragent here .

I think the IE's useragent string is modified by some software .

    Regards,
    Terry

Thank you for that pointer - the whatsmyuseragent site identified the fact that they had Chrome Frame installed, unbeknownst to them.  We uninstalled that, and everything is working.

    Thanks for your help!
