    Edit comments??

    Is there a way for the administrator to edit comments, other than to edit the config files directly?

    Re: Edit comments??

    Please open http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+Image+Gallery/Classic-Layout.aspx , right click one image, you will can find "Add Comment", you can click "Delete Comment" and then add the new comment, we will consider add the "Edit Comment" feature in future version.

    Regards,
    Eric

    Re: Edit comments??

    Really nice :) i didn't see this feature.

    Is there a way to change the name of the comment? Like to who is logged in? Or edit it?

    I am going to buy the great product pretty soon, it does exactly what i want and works with my own asp.net apz.

    Re: Edit comments??

    Dear ThomaxVision,

    Please open "CuteSoft_Client\Gallery\Culture\en\lang.xml", this is language resource file, you can search "comment" and change it to your own word. If you are using other language, please open related language folder.

    Thanks for asking

    Re: Edit comments??

    Thanks Eric

    I had to change the code to this tough:

    <script runat="server">
    protected override void OnInit(EventArgs e)
    {
        base.OnInit(e);

        GalleryBrowser1.Layout="Classic";
        GalleryBrowser1.Culture = "no";

        if(Context.User.Identity.Name=="admin")
        {
            GalleryBrowser1.AllowEdit=true;
            GalleryBrowser1.AllowPostComment=true;
            GalleryBrowser1.AllowShowComment=true;
        }

    }
    </script>
    Else the language would only be when "admin" is logged in . But thanks again.

    Great product i am going to buy the developer license soon.
