I am trying to test if the dotnetgallery would work in dotnetnuke v2.

I have follewed the installation instructions from Adam (thanks) and have installed the dotnetgallery fine but when I add the dot net gallery I get the error specified below.

A critical error has occurred.
The file couldn't be accessed. This may be a security problem.

 

In Adams instructions he says you may get this. Where is the directory that the dotnetgallery is looking for in the dotnetgallerymodule.ascx file? in some samples people use "~/directory/" and in others just "directory"? What should this reporesent?

You can specify the image gallery path by modifying the FolderPath property in the gallery page (dotnetgallerymodule.ascx). Make sure that folder exist in your server.

 

For example:

 

gallery1.FolderPath = "~/directory"
