Is there any way to control the position of the "pop-up" image that is rendered when the user mouses-over an image in the gallery?

You need to modify Grid.js file.

 

this.style.top = parseInt((document.body.offsetHeight-h)/2);  
this.style.left = parseInt((screen.availWidth-w)/2);
