    shyamalangan,

Can you upload a sample file included in the download package to your server and try again?

Re: Toolbars Missing on Server Deployment

    Adam,

We tried the SAMPLEs as well. Only the Text Area comes up without any toolbars.

On the server we created another website in the IIS (testing.xxxx-xxxx.com) and for this it works perfectly. But when we give the domain name (www.xxxx-xxxx.com) then toolbars dont come.

I was wondering if this "-" or the "www" in the domain name was causing the problem; but again, the test environment name works fine.

My team has requested for the exact domain name to be specified in the license file and hopefully tomorrow I should get that file.

We are kinda in a hurry on this as the system needs to go live.

    Rgds,

PS : Does CuteSoft give 24 hours support? If so I could call 2moro.

Re: Toolbars Missing on Server Deployment

Frist it's not a license issue.

Try set the Editor.UseHttpHandlerCacheImages Property to false.

By default Cute Editor will use HttpHandler process the image files on the server side. You can turn this feature off by setting this property to false.

If it doesn't help, please send your editor URL to me through PM.

Re: Toolbars Missing on Server Deployment

    Hi Adam,

I tried the Editor.UseHttpHandlerCacheImages="false" but it failed.

The CuteEditor doesn't load fully. It doesn't load the Toolbars and the Javascripts related to it. This is why the Content shows the HTML Tags.

Im unable to send you the URL cos its not published yet and the old system is running on that URL now. We were going to rollout the new version of the system when we came across this issue with CuteEditor.

We have two sites setup for this.

The first link works perfectly but the second link doesn't. The settings for these are exactly the same (I double checked it). The only difference I see is.. instead of the word 'testing', 'www' is used on the second URL. And I can't come to explain how its not working for the second link.

I'll PM the test link for you.

    Rgds,
    Sri.

We had something similar on our production env. The only difference was that tool bar icons were missing. Check the permissions on /Cutesoft_Client folder. It most likely is a permissions issue.

Re: Toolbars Missing on Server Deployment

    Hi Guys,

We kinda found the problem. The www.xxx-xxx-.cm url was going through a router which was messing up the 'Browser Type' and CuteEditor couldn't recognize the browser and hence showed just the TextArea.

I believe this information is available on the help file.

    Thanx for all he help.
