How do you manually log in a user? 

I pass forms authentication only to load the messenger as a "null" member?  Cute Messenger added a null member to the DB since no userID was set??

integrated Web Messenger with my own project

What I want done really isn't so difficult.  I don't get it.  I would just like to put this into our existing site.  We have a login procedure (utilizing forms authentication and storing some user info in cookies).  I want to get the UserID (which the existing site creates/created) and set it so the end-user doesn't have to login to the messenger when they already logged into the website.
