When I want to insert a link or image I am only able to browse up to images/stories in Joomla.  I can not travel higher in the directory tree.  Is there a way to change that behavior?  I have files that I want to get to under images in my main directory.

Please open "\cuteeditor_files\Configuration\Security\Default.config", you can find the following lines:

 

<security name="ImageGalleryPath">/Uploads</security>
 <security name="MediaGalleryPath">/Uploads</security>
 <security name="FlashGalleryPath">/Uploads</security>
 <security name="TemplateGalleryPath">/Templates</security>
 <security name="FilesGalleryPath">/Uploads</security>

 

If you set  <security name="FilesGalleryPath">/Uploads/test</security>, you will can browse folder "/Uploads/test" and all sub folders such as "/Uploads/test/folder1" or "/Uploads/test/folder2", when you enter sub folder, you can back to parent folder of sub folder, but you cannot browse "/Uploads" unless you change <security name="FilesGalleryPath">/Uploads/test</security> to <security name="FilesGalleryPath">/Uploads</security>

Thanks for the reply.  Sort of makes sense but I do not have an Uploads folder on my site.  I tried changing to another folder or Uploads/folder I wanted  but still cannot get higher than the stories folder on the site.  I have images in other folders that I would like to be able to reach.
